Are you considering renting or buying a pleasure craft or spending the weekend boating with friends and family? Each year thousands of New Zealanders hit the waterways, whether it is on a river, lake or ocean, to enjoy a number of activities such as waterskiing/wake-boarding, fishing, jet-skiing, or sailing to name a few. Before you go out on the water, a responsible boat operator will learn the rules of the sea and be aware of their responsibilities, ensuring the safety of themselves, passengers and others on any outing.
