Terms of Sale
All products and services offered for sale by Fire-Med Solutions are sold subject to the terms and conditions stated herein. These terms and conditions shall apply to the sale of the products and/or services described in the Fire-Med Solutions Quotation, Sales Order, Invoice, or other contract documentation to which these terms and conditions are attached or incorporated by reference. Except as expressly agreed by an authorized representative of Fire-Med Solution in writing, no other terms and conditions, including any terms and conditions attached to, or contained within, Buyer’s request for quotation, acknowledgment, purchase order or other contract documentation shall apply.
Buyer’s acceptance of the products or services delivered by Fire-Med Solutions shall constitute an affirmation by Buyer that the terms and conditions set forth herein govern the purchase and sale of the goods or services. THE TERMS OF THIS CONTRACT SHALL SUPERSEDE ANY ADDITIONAL, DIFFERENT OR CONFLICTING TERMS PROPOSED BY BUYER OR CONTAINED ON BUYER’S PURCHASE ORDER OR ANY DOCUMENT OR INSTRUMENT SUBMITTED BY BUYER.
The prices advertised on Fire-Med Solutions Online Store & eLearning site are for Internet orders. Prices and the availability of items and courses are subject to change without notice.
Shipping Rates and Times:
Standard Shipping Rates for New Zealand Deliveries
Local – Delivery within 2 to 3 business days, Within a major centre, city, town, or village. (Example: Auckland to Hamilton)
Rural – Delivery within 3 to 5 business days, Within a region: Auckland to Waikato (Example: Auckland to Morrinsville Rural Delivery)
National – Delivery within 4 to 9 business days business days, Between regions. Example: Auckland to Christchurch (North Island to South Island)
Shipping and handling charges are based on the delivery option you choose and the weight, size and dimensions of your items. You’ll see the shipping cost listed on the “Place Order” page during checkout.
At this time the Fire-Med Store serves destinations within New Zealand and Australia. We’re unable to ship orders to other destinations outside of New Zealand and the Australia.
When To Expect Your Order:
Our estimated delivery date for your order is based how quickly we can obtain and ship your items, your shipping address, and the shipping speed and options you choose.
We calculate delivery estimates by taking the estimated shipping date and adding the time it takes a package to travel from our facilities to your destination address, based on the shipping speed you’ve chosen. For example, if you order an item that is listed as “Usually ships in 2-3 days” and select standard New Zealand shipping (which typically takes 2-3 business days), you can use the chart above to determine that your order should arrive 5-8 business days after you place it.
If I request One-Day Shipping, will I get my order the next day?
Not all of the items listed on our site are available immediately, so selecting One-Day or Two-Day Shipping does not necessarily mean your order will arrive in one or two days. There is no weekend pickup or delivery for One-Day or Two-Day Shipping. Also, when you select One-Day or Two-Day Shipping, we may use air or ground shipping as necessary to get your items to you within the promised time frame.
What if the estimated delivery date has passed and I still don’t have my order?
Orders that are fulfilled by Fire-Med Solutions and shipped via a trackable method (such as NZ Post) will have tracking information available in Your Account. Please check this information if available and read through the following options:
If the tracking information indicates the package has been delivered, please check with your neighbors or family members. Packages are occasionally left with neighbors, a building manager, or are placed somewhere relatively safe such as your porch, garage, or even behind bushes.
If the tracking information indicates the package is being returned to us, or if the address is incorrect, it may have been undeliverable. If there is no tracking information, or you cannot locate the package and it is not being returned as undeliverable, please e-mail us.
Shipping Methods and Carriers
We use a variety of carriers for each shipping option, and will choose the most appropriate delivery method for your desired shipping address. Most items may be shipped to P.O. boxes. It is not possible to specify a preferred carrier when placing your order. When you select One-Day or Two-Day Shipping, we may use air or ground shipping as necessary to get your items to you within the promised time frame.

Some items too big to ship to a P.O. box must be shipped to a street address.

Any exchanges that are shipped to countries outside of the Canada. may be subject to import taxes, customs duties and fees levied by the destination country (“Import Fees”). The recipient of an international shipment may be subject to such Import Fees, which are levied once a shipment reaches your country. Additional charges for customs clearance must be borne by the recipient.
All Goods supplied are covered by such warranties as are specified by the manufacturer and supplied subject to the product standards detailed by the manufacturer.
On discovery of any defect in the Goods, the Customer must immediately notify the Company in writing of such defect. The Customer must not carry out any remedial work to alleged defective Goods without first obtaining the written consent of the Company to do so.
The provisions of any act or law implying terms, conditions and warranties, or any other terms, conditions and warranties which might otherwise apply to or arise out of the Contract are hereby expressly negatived and excluded to the full extent permitted by law.
The Customer expressly acknowledges and agrees that it has not relied upon, and the Company is not liable for any advice given by the Company, its employees, agents or representatives in relation to the suitability for any purpose of the Goods.
